Moto Oud Eau de Parfum

Launched in 2013 as part of the original five Blackbird fragrances, this cult-favorite perfume refused to be canceled. After it's discontinuation in late 2017, Moto Oud fans have been sneakily requesting and purchasing hand-labeled bottles on the side. Last year we decided to launch both Hallow and Moto Oud as part of our 15 year anniversary but COVID-19 got in the way.
Today we are relaunching Moto Oud with some slight upgrades - longer-lasting, improved projection, added pink pepper top notes, and a more crystalline distinction of the scent notes.
THE STORY - Like a broken down motorcycle in the desert, our rendition of oud perfume showcases burnt clutch, blown rubber gaskets, and sunbaked cracked leather. Your lifelong dream of riding the Mojave Desert with your buddy has come to an end. AAA is on the way.

I bought the moto oud and as soon as I put it on, it’s gone. I get a faint whiff of it on my clothes but nothing significant. I’ve experimented with spraying on my wrists vs neck or doing the walk into the mist thing and 30 min after I spray it on it disappears. I have the targa fragrance and that one seems to stick around a bit better. I guess if you want a real eau de parfum you gotta spend a bit more. Seems like Blackbird diluted their fragrance. Smells like a meticulously clean garage, or an antiseptic oil spill. Bleach and a pervasive scent of motor oil that can't be cleaned away. The oud gives it a slightly spicy kick that makes it more approachable. But ultimately it's overpowered by the motor oil. Abrasive and unpleasant but very interesting.

This is lovely. Pleasingly musty to my nose — a cumin-y or saffron-y note?— but also medicinal and smokey with hints of lovely spice. I’m making it sound yuck, but it’s great.
