I’m all about incense. When done right, it’s just so much cooler than a candle. But the “doing it right” part is the trick. A vast majority (like, say 99.9%) of incense is just plain stinky — cloying, overpowering. Bad incense will take you straight back to college and your hippie roommate’s desperate attempts to cover up, ahem, other smells. (Or maybe that’s just me.)
